 "DSL4608 SeriesRack Card 24V (9-36V) Ethernet Modem for Metallic Lines(2 wire or 4 wire operation). Used to bridge Ethernet data over communication lines. The DSL-4608.Eth is higher speed (up to 4608 kbit/) but can ONLY be used on unconditioned copper wire lines. (i.e dry copper cables). The modem inside the DSL-4608 is a ""DSL modem"". The DSL-4608.Eth has a software solution for Ethernet bridging. They can only be used in pairs. I.e. you have to have the same unit at each end.
